3D Modelling - Environment

Today I kept doing some more textures and also did an Ambien Occlusion render pass of the scene to have a better view of it.

3D Modelling

More progress on the environment. I exported the terrain/land to mudbox and sculpted a basic normal map to give more detail to the overall look of the terrain, then I painted some textures in photoshop, I also textured the rocks and spread them around the terrain. I will probably do a bit more work on the sculpting side of the terrain in order to achieve a much better overall look of it.

3D_Portfolio_Modelling

For my portfolio I decided to do some environment, props and character modelling as well as a few animations.

Last week on saturday night I started researching and on monday I drew a rough environment design that I wanted to model in 3d and then texture.

This is the 3d model of the environment that I designed, it is 85% finished , because I still need to model a few more props. I also changed a few things in comparison with my designs.



A few render images of my progress so far. I didn't put up all the renders I've done, otherwise there'd be over 30 images :P
